Classic Comedy for Christmas


Remember SCTV? The Canadian sketch comedy show, reminiscent of Second City and Saturday Night Live, featured John Candy, Harold Ramis, Joe Flaherty, Andrea Martin, Catherine O'Hara, Eugene Levy, Martin Short, and these guys - Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas. The "Great White North" segment was added originally because the network required 2 minutes of identifiable "Canadian content" for each show. Bob & Doug Mackenzie's uncouth characters, smokes and beers and all, became extremely popular. Here are two Christmas segments for your enjoyment.
